Vicki Schaub, ARNP
Vicki Schaub is a graduate of Gonzaga University where she received her Master’s in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner in December 2014. She received her certification in Adult Rheumatology in 2015. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Vicki worked as a Registered Nurse for 27 years. Vicki practiced in the Yakima valley for over 25 years. While there, she worked as an RN for Virginia Mason Memorial. She began her nurse practitioner career with Memorial Physicians, PLLC in Rheumatology and then transitioned to Internal Medicine and Urgent Care.
Vicki is a very active participant in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. In honor of their late son, the Schaub family has raised over $100,000 in the past 10 years to support brain cancer research. The Schaub family also supports the West Valley Dollars for Scholars’ program by donating a yearly scholarship to a West Valley High School student. Vicki is also involved in the March of Dimes program, Children’s Miracle Network, Muscular Dystrophy, and the Memorial Foundation in Yakima, WA.
Vicki believes in creating a team with her patients to promote wellness and prevent disease. She strongly advocates for patient education to encourage patients to actively participate in the decisions central to their care.
Outside of her work and volunteerism, Vicki is an avid traveler. Her favorite destination is Italy. She also enjoys the smaller, quaint restaurants that Seattle has to offer. When she can, she enjoys plays and the ballet.
